MTN rewards winners in ‘Spin to Win Promo’

MTN Ghana has rewarded winners in the company’s “Spin to Win Promo” for the months of January and February.

Five customers were awarded cash prizes ranging from GH¢1000 to GH¢ 2000 while two people were presented with 4G smart phones.

Mr Peter Tweneboah and Mr Benjamin Owusu won brand new Hyundai i10 salon cars while Mr Isaac Kyei and Mr Kofi Anokye won an all-expense-paid five-day trip to Dubai.

The Senior Specialist at the Consumer Segment of MTN Ghana, Mr Maxwell Arthur, speaking at the press presentation, said the promotion was to appreciate loyal MTN customers who subscribed to the MTN “Spin to Win Promo.”

 “Beyond the functional benefits customers derive from patronising our products, this promo is an additional way to give our customers the reason to remain loyal to the brand,” he added.

He explained that winners were short-listed based on the number of times they spun upon recharging their credit with a minimum of GH¢1.

Mr Arthur added that participants who did not win a prize upon spinning accrued points for the month. At the end of every month, points accumulated are ranked and the customer with the highest points for the month would win a prize.

“There is no instance where a customer will spin and would not win a prize since there are daily as well as monthly prizes,” he indicated.

Some of the daily prizes, he stated, included football replica jerseys, MTN branded t-shirts, power banks and 4G smart phones.

The promotion, he said, had brought more customers on board and was still hoping more customers would join in the subsequent months.

Mr Arthur gave the assurance that the promotion would not end now “so long as our customers have not stopped recharging their credits from us.”

“Customers are our greatest asset; we value and cherish our relationship with them. The promo would continue to deliver on MTN‘s mission of making its customer’s lives a whole lot brighter,” he added.

He further outlined the processes one must follow to take part in the promo and urged customers to recharge a minimum of GH¢ one worth of MTN credit whilst receiving an SMS indicating the number of spin earned based on the amount recharged.

The “MTN Spin and Win promotion” is simply a usage-based promotion where customers accrue points based on the number of times they recharge their credit with a cedi or more. So every cedi a customer recharges, MTN gives out the opportunity to spin to accrue a point which will later be short listed for customers with the highest points to receive a prize,” he said. — GB
