Shoprite rewards two loyal customers with cars

Retail giant Shoprite, has rewarded two of its customer’s with brand new saloon cars at an event in Osu.

The two customers were Nana Aba Seigoe, and Evelyn Emefa, all shoppers of the Osu mall branch of the retail company. They won a Chevrolet and Suzuki alto respectively.

The winners were randomly selected after they made purchases from a Shoprite outlet and subsequently filled a coupon to enter the draw.

Winners grateful
“I bought something’s over the November, December period and I was given a raffle coupon to fill so I entered my name and phone number and about two weeks ago I was called that I had won the car”, Nana Aba Seigoe said in an interview with the Daily Graphic.

She added that, “They only asked me to bring along my national ID card so I am very excited, you know when I was called that I had won the car, I kept asking them if they were sure but I usually shop here (Shoprite) because I live at Labony so I am very grateful”

Evelyn Emefa also shared her excitement in an interview with the paper, “I am are really grateful, and God is awesome.  I was looking at buying a car in the future and thankfully Shoprite has made my dream come true.”

Present at the event were staff from the Osu outlet of Shoprite Ghana, as well as some officials of the Gaming Commission of Ghana.

Gaming commission optimistic
The Compliance Manager of the Gaming Commission of Ghana, Mr Patrick Kwakye whose outfit supervised the draw, praised Shoprite for the success of the promotion and assured its management that his outfit was satisfied with the process.

He rated the promotion as superb and gave Shoprite a 95 per cent rate.

Mr Annan added that the promotion from Shoprite shows the recognition and commitment to customers and urged fellow retail chains and stores to emulate gesture.
