Programme to empower deprived communities launched

Tec Konsult in Partnership with Platinum Phoenix Services has launched the first ever Platinum Iftar which is aimed at empowering the Zongo/Moslem communities all around the country.

The programme is to help them champion their own development by pressing for progress and to encourage them to tell their own stories and voice out their own truths.

Speaking at the launch of the event in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of Tec Konsult, Mrs Zeenat Zita Dibkuu Yirenkyi said the programmes would have five main objectives, which includes the hosting of an annual fund raising dinner to cater for a selected project in the Zongo/Moslem community, and to award individuals/companies within the Zongo/Moslem communities who are making significant contributions.

Others include the awarding of individuals/companies who are outside the Zongo/Moslem community but contribute significantly to the development of the Zongo/Moslem community in Ghana and also to display the most luxurious modest/Moslem fashion red carpet  in other to set a great example to the youth.

The lead advocate /strategies Mrs Rabi Dan Alpha Sharubutu stated that the event will also crown Mr & Mrs Iftar : which will be judge based on projects and others

The CEO of Platinum Phoenix Services Mrs Salima Sangari, for her part said the focus of the event was to improve deprived communities.

As part of the launch the team presented two awards to the two most deserving personalities namely; Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu (National Chief Imam of Ghana) and Father Andrew Campbell of Christ The King Church.

The award was to thank these two great men for their unique roles to this current generation and generations to come.

The team spent time with these two leaders to discuss the project, seek their input, guidance and blessings.
