Global Ambassadors Production (GAP)-Huz, a Takoradi-based event management company, will on November 10 organise the 3rd annual Takoradi Corporate Fashion show at the plush Raybow International Hotel.
The event, to be held under the theme, “Showcasing and Identifying Ideal Outfit for a Corporate Personality,” is aimed at showcasing the different designs and art works of fashion designers in the Western region.
The event also seeks to encourage the patronage of made in Ghana goods within the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis.
The Executive Director of GAP House, Mr Nathaniel Kwesi Mawusi Aguiar in a statement to the media said the event would “revive and support the young talented ones in the Western Region and beyond.
“It also seeks to encourage the youth to be self-employed and also give employment opportunities to the teeming youth,” he added.
Mr Aguiar urged indigenous fashion designers and artists to work hard enough to beat national and international standards.
He also encouraged fashion designers and artists to give off their best to be able to compete nationally and globally as well as leave a hallmark for the next generation to have a positive impact on the society, region and nation as a whole.
There would be a series of spoken words, music, live performances and exhibitions by designers from various collections, models on the runway and live bidding of designs, among others by the finest creative individuals and organizations in Sekondi-Takoradi and beyond.
“We deem to bring together all corporate bodies in the metropolis and beyond. We will bring together designers, models, photographers and fashion lovers on a single platform at the Raybow International Hotel in Takoradi,” the statement said.
